Join the Anelto team as a Senior Systems Engineer to provide your expertise and experience in the development and support of solutions in the PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) Telehealth markets.  A unique opportunity exists for the right candidate to join the team to use your skills in the continued support and guidance of Anelto partners in the rapidly growing healthcare and safety industries. 

Anelto is searching for an experienced systems engineer that has demonstrable history in technical support/integration roles within a high-tech organization.  The ideal candidate is able to provide references to or examples of prior work in both technical/support environments.  Must be comfortable in a dynamic environment and be able to work well under defined delivery schedules.

Candidate must be able to function as a technical liaison between Anelto and customer/partner technical staff.  Must be able to work independently and collaborate with various internal teams to provide accurate and reliable results.  Experience with wireless technologies and networks is mandatory.  The ideal individual will have hardware, software and networking experience with cellular and LAN/PAN technologies along with customer-facing support experience.

Responsibilities

·       Coordinate 3rd-party API, software, and hardware integration efforts

·       Manage the integration effort of new peripheral equipment for healthcare solutions (vitals sign monitors, sensors, etc.)

·       Work collaboratively with internal and external software, hardware, networking and system development engineers

·       Drive 3rd-party product integration efforts to include teleconferencing, electronic health record (EHR), utilities (weather, medication, etc)

·       Manage all call center data signaling implementations

·       Maintain knowledge of documented firmware, hardware and software revisions as they pertain to multiple product lines

·       Proactively test, monitor and troubleshoot device hardware and supporting cloud services

·       Recreate reported software and/or hardware non-conformance in order to identify and resolve or escalate to appropriate technical staff for resolution

·       Establish and nurture technical relationships with customers and proactively manage their support based on product and services procured

·       Act as customer advocate to define and manage feature identification and priority

·       Work closely with the testing group to assist in the documentation and replication of field issues that will be considered as test cases for test cycle integration

·       Document and manage issue identification and resolution from initial instance to production deployment

·       Assist with Alpha and Beta test plans and execution where needed

·       Establish feedback loop with test and engineering groups to establish potential issue trends and circumvent negative affects with production deployments

·       Collaborate with team members across various functional disciplines to ensure high product quality

·       Assist in customer support role as needed

Requirements

·       BS degree in engineering or related technical field experience

·       Practical work experience with a cellular carrier, hardware or services entity

·       Deep understanding of network protocols and technologies such as UDP-TCP/IP, GSM, LTE, CAT-M, Bluetooth

·       Working understanding of cloud-based services and architectures

·       Experience in configuring firewalls, network switches and routers

·       Strong written and verbal skills

·       Expertise with Microsoft Windows and Office product suite

·       Experience with MacOS X and software

·       Experience with Android and iOS operating systems, development environments and app troubleshooting along with Google Play and Apple App Store publication environments

·       Drive toward continuous process improvement to reduce cycle time and cost

·       Success in providing high-quality, cost-effective system integration and support services

·       Must have customer support experience and demonstrate the ability to work well with technical and non-technical staff to drive issues to resolution

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Some travel may be required

·       Results driven with strong sense of ownership

·       Ability to work well both independently and in team structures

Desired Skills or Expertise

·       Demonstrated systems troubleshooting experience

·       Demonstrated systems integration experience

·       Expertise with the Linux and/or Unix operating systems extremely beneficial

·       Any software development experience is a plus

·       Technical experience in the commercial/residential alarm market is a plus

·       Experience with cloud-based services and tools like MongoDB and AWS

·       Good working understanding of JSON, XML and REST

·       Experience with voice services and solutions (Alexa, Google Home)Experience with databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL, and/or SQL Server
