The Remodel Team Lead is responsible for the execution of Anderson Merchandisers standards to meet client expectations for complex store remodels. The Remodel Team Lead is responsible for managing the production and labor for large scale rearrangement of store’s products and the fixtures on which they sit through precise organization and coordination. Regional travel will be required for this position.


The Remodel Team Lead oversees and manages the Remodel Store Specialists on their team and reports to the Remodel Team Supervisor.

Essential Functions

Core functions include but are not limited to:

1. Daily performance management of each Remodel Store Specialist

2. Daily organization and coordination of labor projects and personnel which includes scheduling, communication and tracking of project progress

3. Evaluate performance and standards for each Remodel Store Specialist

4. Communicate challenges, whether project or personnel related, back to Remodel Team Supervisor

5. This may include assisting in personnel decisions

6. Report accurate project progress updates to Remodel Team Supervisor

7. Assist in building new sales floor fixtures as well as assisting in uninstalling existing fixtures

8. Manage and provide organizational instructions for setting merchandise to modular guidelines

5. Written Communication – the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and can read and interpret written information

6. Quality Control – the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality

7. Planning/Organizing – the individual prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently

8. Adaptability – the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and can deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events

9. Dependability – the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve

10. Integrity - the individual acts in such a way that instills trust from management, other associates, as well as clients. Acts with honesty while assisting clients, processing transactions, and dealing with confidential information

11. Teamwork - the individual can work with others including partners, vendors and customers in a positive manner. They understand each other’s roles and empower one another to take responsibility to be a successful team

Required Education and Experience

· Lifting objects and product up to a maximum of 50 lbs. with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects/product up to 35 lbs, in addition, the ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs with assistance from another associate

· Work performed could be while sitting, standing, or walking

· Work performed will entail fine manipulation of hands or fingers, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing as well as upper and lower body mobility

· Experience/comfort level with electronics/technical products

· Independent and self-motivated

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, overnights and weekends

· Overnights are required

· High School diploma or equivalency certification preferred

· Valid driver's license is required as travel to additional locations may be necessary

· Automobile liability insurance is required to be maintained

· Computer, printing capability, internet access, and email required

· Customer service or sales experience required
