Director of Regulatory Affairs

The position will assist in ensuring all ABH products are safe for its intended use and compliant with each market distribution. The Director of Regulatory Affairs will generate and maintain documents necessary for registration purposes. Job Description + Assist in reviewing ingredients/formulas for compliance (USA, Canada, EU, Japan, Australia, Middle East etc.) + Manage testing for new products + Request bulk for testing (RIPT, PET and other claims such as comedogenic, flash point etc.) + Follow up on test reports + Create and maintain a master list with status + Maintain completed reports. + Assure PD checklists are updated as necessary + Provide updates to inquiring parties (Project director, Claudia, Marketing etc) as needed. + Maintain registration documents including dossier specific for EU + Maintain folders holding all documents for registration purposes + Assure documents are complete, accurate and organized + Update PD checklist as necessary + Directly work with vendors to complete ABH dossier + Obtain missing documents + Request revisions to comply with ABH template or with corresponding country + Follow up as needed + Generate documents for registration purposes: + Ingredient listing + Quantitative Formula + Certificates such as COA, CFS, BSE free Cert and other + Safety Assessment + SDS etc. + Generate Ingredient listing for new and revised formulas + Review labels for compliance + Generate and maintain master documents for customer service, marketing and sales purposes: + Review formulas for claims: paraben free, animal by products content, gluten free, Vegan + Obtain confirmation/statements from Vendors regarding claims, efficacy testing etc. + Fill up NAFTA forms and maintain the master list + Fill up forms for sales and marketing purposes (IL, net wt., claims, etc.) + Register products in CA Prop 65, CA Safe Cosmetics Act, EU, Canada and other countries + Fill up forms and submit to respective agencies. + Complete dossier + Notify and update product registration with ECHA + Maintain the master list and assure new products are registered on a timely manner + Assist with other tasks as needed. + Assist in incoming inspection as necessary at the warehouse (Chatsworth). + Assist in new Projects and other QA related matters, as necessary Qualifications + AS or BS degree in Scientific discipline or equivalent + 6 months to 1 year experience in Cosmetic Regulations + Proficient with Microsoft Office + Able to handle multiple projects and exercise good judgment in prioritizing tasks. + High level of attention to detail + Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Adobe and document management templates. + Strong communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal) Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision, Paid Time Off, Holiday and Gratis
