Accountant Opportunity

We are looking for an individual to join our team as a Senior Accountant to assist with vital day-to-day accounting functions. Located in our beautiful office in Carlsbad, CA, this position requires an energized collaborator who is looking for a diverse and challenging work environment.

Our ideal candidate needs to be a strong multitasker with experience in accounting, preferably within the real estate industry. Our business strategy will keep you engaged and motivated in our varied commercial endeavors, which includes retail centers, industrial complexes, office buildings and land for future commercial and residential development.

Essential details of this position:

Perform monthly bank reconciliations of multiple entities.
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with Capital Calls and quarterly Distributions.
Assist with Loan Escrow Draws.
Reconcile, audit, and prepare corporate credit card accounts for payment.
Process remote check deposits for any incoming payments and record journal entries for all incoming ACH payments.
Track, reconcile, and pay intercompany transactions and payables.
Full cycle of Accounts Payable process.
Monitor incoming intercompany reimbursement, property, and asset management payments.
Process and monitor annual property tax bills for land and corporate properties.
Entity compliance; File Annual Reports, Statements of Information, LLC Registrations.
Assist with Tax Payments.
Prepare Annual 1099s.
Additional ad hoc items as assigned.

Strong accounting research and organizational skills.
Knowledge and experience with full-cycle accounting (inclusive of AP & AR).
Yardi experience, highly desired.
Real estate experience, desired.
Accounting degree required.
4+ years of experience.
Willingness to learn new tasks to assist the team.
