Job Description

Amphib Digital is actively seeking a sales executive for a bellwether managed service provider (MSP), which has serviced a growing portfolio of small to medium-sized businesses in Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland for well over 20 years. Our customer is seeking a sales leader, who has an expert understanding of the MSP marketplace (or who can learn very quickly) and pinpoint opportunities for rapid expansion and business development for MSP services. Therefore the best and brightest candidates must be both strategic and quick synergistic thinkers, able to operate independently and with a growing small team to oversee sales operations and meet business objectives.

Hard Requirements:

  • Minimal 5 years as a sales director, sales manager, or equivalent role.

  • Experience selling B2B, with for-profit customers engaged in professional services; technology sales experience would be very beneficial.

  • Bachelors in business administration or related fields. Associates + 2 more years of experience.

Desired experience and capabilities:

As part of a new business development team, you’ll be managing sales pursuits and the sales pipeline, helping the account team in identifying, qualifying and closing sales leads, and coordinating the utilization of all account management methodology and business development tools.

  • Development of sales strategies, executing tactics, and securing the resources required to close sales opportunities.

  • Staying informed in the MSP space for small to medium-sized businesses, with the ability to Identify gaps in the market and spot opportunities to create value propositions.

  • Build trust with clients by understanding client business issues, matching them to service capabilities/revenue opportunities, and ensuring realistic/timely delivery.

  • Looking for opportunities to scale efficiencies within the company and new ways of working across multiple projects and environments.

  • Shape an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart.

  • Influence and facilitate the creation of long-term relationships which add value to the firm.

  • Lead the sales process through effective targeting of buyers and influencers by actioning business intelligence from the Marketing Manager's research and campaign theme and creating execution plans with the Account Manager to create robust sales channels.

  • Overcome objections and obstacles to win the business, develop and execute a targeted relationship and account development strategy.

  • Oversee and implement sales cycle methodology, account and relationship development methodology.

 

Compensation:

Base salary + Commission ($75 - 100K+, dependent upon performance)
