Job Description

This position is responsible for supporting the preparation and review of quality documentation and deliverables for fulfilling technical requirements for final product delivery. Works directly with customers’ drawings, PO’s, specifications, quality systems flow downs, (e.g., pack and ship sheets), supplier quality requirements (SQR’s), and customer websites or portals.


  • Works in direct support of the FQC function, (e.g., documentation and source) maintains communications with Final QC, Planning, Manufacturing, and Engineering or organizational personnel on quality related issues.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills required to interface with personnel at various technical and managerial levels, including customer source inspectors, etc.
  • Identifies through proactive PO review and internal systems flow downs, the shippable and deliverable requirements needed to meet customer defined requirements to be complete and accurate.
  • Ensures the deliverables packages are:  Reviewed for completeness and accuracy, legible, signed, and dated as required.
  • Assists in the development of consistent packages and methods that meet the expectation of our customers’ outgoing quality requirements. This includes items such as: test reports, inspection reports, e.g., AS9102 FAIR’s, internal and supplier c of c’s, and any required coupons, etc.)
  • Interpret requirements through the use of applicable SOP’s, industry and customer specification requirements, web sites interfacing with various organizational and external sources as required e.g., Customer Service, Engineering and/or source inspectors to determine technical requirements or problem resolution.
  • May provide inspection support as required. (e.g. IPC-A-600, IPC-6012, IPC-6013, IPC-A-610, AS9102)
  • Maintain all quality records and documentation in accordance with the QMS and specific customer requirements.
  • Work safely to prevent injuries and follows all safety regulations.
  • May be required to cross train in other departments.            
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to three years related experience in quality control in a manufacturing environment and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ Years PCB experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, policies and procedures and the ability to apply that knowledge to the interpretation of blueprints and customer requirements is necessary to successfully perform in this position.
  • Must have diverse knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques, and test methods. 
  • Must have good interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision and in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 50 lbs. safely.      
  • Proficient Computer experience - Microsoft Office-Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
