Business Development Representative – Amino Transport

Responsibilities

  • Produce a high volume of outreach using prospect calls, emails, and various other provided resources.
  • Maintain and update prospect information within SalesForce.com.
  • Create new relationships with customers and establish new revenue for sustained growth.
  • Understand customer pain points, gather technical requirements, and correlate business value to customer needs.
  • Focus on building relationships and growing existing accounts.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the market to provide competitive quotes.
  • Strong organization with outreach and follow-ups.
  • Provide the Account Managers with detailed call notes to ensure the opportunity is understood and the next steps are clearly defined.
  • Use established tools, software, and processes and ensure all data is updated and accurate.
  • Manage multiple priorities and maintain the flow of business information with a sense of urgency.

· Must have a passion for achieving sales goals & demonstrate critical & creative thinking.

· Occasional travel may be required to engage with customers for in-person sales meetings, industry events, and tradeshows (up to 25% may be required).

 

Qualifications

· 1 year of transportation sales experience required.

· Entrepreneurial sales approach.

· Aptitude and appreciation for selling in a fast-paced and competitive environment.

· Excellent verbal/written communication skills and follow-thru abilities.

· Strong work ethic with a team mentality.

How you’ll contribute

· You strive for volume.

· You love to talk, and especially love to listen.

· Develop and execute strategies with sales leadership.

· Leverage and grow your account base, working with the account management team.

· Actively search for creative ways to build opportunities within portfolio.

· Work closely with BDR’s and Account Managers to identify accounts and targets.
