Trailer Technician/Mechanic

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Trailer Mechanic/Technician! The Trailer Technician is responsible for timely repair and maintenance of medium duty fleet trailer vehicles to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! $25-$28 per hour, depending on experience!

SHIFT: Second shift, 1-9pm or 2-10pm (days can be discussed)- (Overtime available, if desired)

What the Trailer Mechanic/Technician role looks like:

· Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer

· Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to trailers

· Inspect and perform work on the under parts of vehicles

· Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance

· Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation

What our ideal candidate looks like:

• At least 2 years’ experience in trailer maintenance.

• Diesel or tractor experience is a plus.

• Must be able to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if operating properly

• Must provide own hand tools & toolbox.
