Our client, a Global Fortune 50 organization and one of world’s largest distributors of Health care systems, Medical supplies & Pharmaceutical products, seeks Employee Relations Support Representative - Remote.

Position: Employee Relations Support Representative - REMOTE

Location: Irving, TX 75063

Duration: 2 Months + | 40hr/week |

 

*** Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. W2 - $20.00/hr. W2 (depending upon experience)

 

Relocation Assistance/ Expenses: NO

 

This is a work from home opportunity however hiring manager would prefer candidates local to these client offices: Alpharetta, Richmond, Las Colinas and Scottsdale. Will be covering employees across different time zones. Open to any location if skills are a good fit.

 

Normal day shift hours Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 5:30pm; rotating Sunday and evening shifts, usually once per month – Sunday 1pm – 10pm EST and evenings 1pm – 10pm EST.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide Employee Relations support for People Leaders and employees. Responsible for responding to questions and concerns, following established protocols, and handling confidential information.
  • Conduct initial intake to include completing required questionnaire, assessing situation, providing direction on appropriate actions to People Leaders and employees.
  • Complete return to work (RTW) process to include communicating with employees regarding RTW timeline and requirements, collecting documentation from employee or healthcare provider, ensuring RTW requirements are met, communicating RTW timeline with people leaders.
  • Interpret and apply understanding of company policies and procedures to provide immediate guidance and response to People Leaders and employees.
  • Maintain required documentation within case management system, including intake notes, supporting documents and reports.
  • Escalate matters that are ambiguous or require more expertise to resolve.

Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree required (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in human resources, business administration, organizational development, or related equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of human resources or customer service/call center experience.

Critical Knowledge & Competencies:

  • Critical thinking and decisive judgment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete all required tasks without prompting
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
  • Ability to engage and respond with compassion and empathy
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency in use of HR systems and/or call center technology tools preferred
  • Ability to adhere to policies, procedures and regulations
  • Quality and detail orientation
  • Clean and clear written and oral communication
  • Rotating evening and Sunday hours required (usually one evening or Sunday per month)
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
