American Textile Maintenance CO. is looking for an ambitious Sales Manager to be based out of Southern California, in the greater Los Angeles area for our Republic Master Chef division.
In this role you will plan, coordinates, supervise and manage all sales operations in Southern California. Working directly with and under the supervision of the General Manager, you will be responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in your assigned market. Your management style will ensure that you effectively staff and direct a sales team. You will be responsible for establishing sales plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and the continued development of training and educational programs for clients and your team of 9- 12 Account Executives.
Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
Conducts one-on-one review with all Account Executives to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of account executives sales and activity performance.
Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance and all other relevant or required benchmarks.
Assist in conducting training and be an authority in the CRM (Customer Relations Management) system.
Interviews and hires Account Executives based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.
Conducts regular coaching and counseling with Account Executives to build motivation and selling skills (including cold calls, and closing business).
Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
5+ years of experience in sales management, with proven field sales experience and results.
Experience with sales softwares
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Proven success leading a sales team of 9 or more members
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication
Willingness to travel and work in a Southern California, having to travel to other company locations as needed
Proven leadership and ability to drive, motivate, and inspire a professional sales teams
Excellent driving record
