Yard Hand / Sales Assistant

American Stone is looking to hire a Wholesale Sales Intern for the Fall Semester. This is a formal program to shadow and assist a top sales professional with our company. This program is designed to grant you college credit for your program.

In addition to being a paid internship opportunity, this position offers university credit. The schedule is flexible to meet the needs of your class schedule.

Learning Objectives:

1. Review different types of natural stone in order to understand their unique characteristics and identify applications where each are best suited.
2. Get a first-hand view of how stone is quarried, fabricated, and installed in order to understand its capabilities for design.
3. Gain a better understanding of the versatility of natural stone as a building material.
4. Be inspired by award-winning projects that showcase design trends in a variety of commercial and residential interior and exterior projects

We are a supplier of a wide variety of stone and stone products for landscaping, masonry, construction contractors, and retail DIY customers. From what began as 2 brothers deciding to create their own success and quarry stone, we now operate 4 retail store locations and 25 quarries throughout. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR WHOLESALE SALES INTERN

As a wholesale sales, you will learn Action Selling tactics as well as more about natural stone. When it comes to customer service, you will learn how to professionally answer customer questions. You assist our top sales pro and learn all the tips and tricks on how to become a top earning stone sales professional.
