Seeking Level 4 DC power installers to perform job duties of a lead installer in a communications and industrial environment. Ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of the DC Power industry as it relates to the three primary markets served by APS (Telecom, UPS, and Utility). This position requires travel on a regular basis, mostly during the week and home on most weekends.
Experience with installation of battery plants 24VDC, 48VDC and UPS, Installation of ironwork and cable rack zone 4, installation of DC power plants , distribution equipment BDFB, inverters, running of power cable, lug crimping, lacing and all other duties associated with the installation and maintenance of DC power.
Applicant must be familiar with a variety of the electrical field's concepts, practices, best practice, and procedures including the technical ability to understand and interpret Electrical Codes, Life Safety Codes, NFPA, Uniform Building Codes, and Lighting Systems where applicable.
Knowledge of industry standards (i.e., Telcordia, IP72202, TP76300, 77350).
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand spoken English.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Clean driving record required.
Must be drug free.
Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.
CDL preferred, but not required.
Hourly rate of pay depends on experience.
