Job Description
Position: Closing Manager (Remote) Location: Nashville, TN
Job Id: 1617 # of Openings: 1
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Managing Closing Supervisors/Closers
  • Ensuring that all Requests for Closings/Schedulings are timely worked & that Schedulers are proactively contacting attorneys to schedule closings & resolve exception items.
  • Managing capacity across multiple closing teams to ensure closing documents are generated and forwarded to attorneys/agents at least 48 hours prior to scheduled closing dates.
  • Ensuring that all fundings are accurately & timely wired prior to scheduled closing dates.
  • Ensuring that all confirmations of closing are completed accurately (based upon receipt of documentation) & timely by rescission end date & that all supporting documentation is uploaded to the origination system prior to actual confirmations.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in mortgage closing (conventional and government; purchase and refinance).
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in loan closing administration, prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of mortgage closing practices and procedures
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor at all position levels
  • Solid knowledge of Federal and State regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC and Government guidelines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to effectively interact with various styles and levels of management and be able to adjust own communication style based on the audience.
  • Ability to consistently maintain high performance level in stressful situations.
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, Loan Origination Systems a plus, etc.

  • Adaptability an ability to quickly learn new or different techniques, products and computer programs
