Maintenance Supervisor

Job description

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining the operations of our apartment community (104 units). This position will work closely with the Property Manager and will be responsible for organizing service requests, preventative maintenance programs, compliance and safety standards, and customer service.

Position Description:

• Manage daily operations and maintenance at your property, completing work orders and completing routine maintenance and repairs.
• Maintain HVAC systems
• The apartment make ready and turns.
• Interview and hire new team members when needed (Carpenters, Groundskeepers, Cleaners, etc.)
• Ensure goals are met, including efficient, on-time turns, and budgetary goals
• Work with vendors and contractors
• Provide excellent customer service to residents

Requirements:

• A minimum of three years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification/licensure in HVAC or Universal EPA
• Pool certification is a plus
• Certification in refrigeration, electrical, plumbing a plus
• Hands-on supervisory approach
