DIESEL MECHANIC / MOBILE SERVICE TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a TRUCK LUBE TECHNICIAN DIESEL MECHANIC to join our team! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles and transmission systems.

Responsibilities:

• Repair trucks, trailers, and other commercial motor vehicles
• Understand complete PM service requirements for commercial vehicles
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to type as all work orders and diagnostic software are computer based.
• Willingness to work long hours, 12 hour days 4 days a week.

Requirements:

• Clean driving record.
• Minimum of 2 years experience, prefer 5 years of experience
• Knowledge of parts providers across southern California
• Ability to work alone, unsupervised, without having come back repairs.
• Ability to store a company truck in a safe manor, preventing theft, damage to both company and personal property.

Compensation:

• Guaranteed hourly pay, every Friday.
• Performance incentives on weekly paycheck
• All field techs take their company vehicle home, no gas to get to work, and lower insurance payments

• Diagnostic software reimbursement if you have your own diag laptop
• Our technicians that are willing to put in the work, and get the job done, can make anywhere from $85,000 to $140,000 annually.
