The primary function of this position is to offer solutions that help to further protect new and existing customers. The best fit for this role is an out-going, energetic, competitive, and self-motivated individual. This person will help handle the current business that flows into the agency while simultaneously working to secure new customers.
Primary Job Functions & Activities:
o Make proactive outbound calls and receive inbound calls in an effort to quote and bind auto, home, and life insurance
o Follow up and meet with new business prospects to asses current needs and areas where protection is missing in order to prepare a tailored proposal for each individual
o Execute new business presentations
o Managing the agency internet lead program.
o Follow up with customers after the presentation appointment to answer additional questions, address concerns, and create the plan to complete the new business process with the customer
o Assist with building relations with referral partners (mortgage lenders, real estate agents, etc.)
o Maintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written
o Create brokerage quotes & applications, especially those with Foremost, Vacant Express, and American Modern
o Visit and photograph homes in order to ensure the property meets all of our eligibility guidelines
o Taking every opportunity while talking or meeting with current and potential customers to point out potential gaps in their current insurance package and offering solutions to fill those gaps
Service Related: While the primary role is sales, the sales specialist will assist with a portion of service related work.
o Assist with incoming phone calls
o Help with billing issues and policy transactions

Required Education & Experience
High School Diploma
Associate or Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
A successful candidate must obtain property & casualty insurance licenses within agreed time of hiring offer
Potential Career Paths: There are three potential career paths associated with this position if the performance of the applicant merits progression over time:
1. Personal Lines Sales Manager of the Wenatchee Location: This person would help build a sales team and be responsible for team sales goals
2. Storefront Manager of a location outside of Wenatchee: The Jake Davison Agency will expand to other areas of the State of Washington. If youd like to be a manager of a location, but not incur the expense or risk of agency ownership, you could be a storefront manager
3. Future Agency Owner: If you know that you would like to run your own business with your own team but dont believe you currently have the skills or capital, this is a great path. This candidate would seek their own agency (outside of Wenatchee) after a 2 to 3 year mentorship program

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Wage DOE: $14 - 15 per hour plus commission. $40K - $50K/year potential
Commission & Bonus Plan
Monday thru Friday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Saturday by appointment only
Weekend events 1 to 2 times per year
