Functions as the primary graphics, promotion design and layout and general technology support to a Section or approved entity within the ABA.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
-Accountable for the development, maintenance, and integrity of the Forum’s (an entity within the ABA) website to optimize service delivery to the affected members and to drive membership value.
-Identifies opportunities to optimize the website and other communications technologies.
-Creates preliminary design concepts and graphics, chooses artwork and designs forum brochures, postcards, and other promotional pieces. Ensures that final products are proofed, and provided to the printer delivered on-time, and are at or under budget without diminution of messaging or print quality.
-Provides tier-one technology support for external product consumers and ABA members related to the Forum’s technology via telephone, e-mail, and/or at a sponsored meeting.
-Collaborates closely with Marketing and IT to ensure alignment of communications and appropriate of messaging; responsible for understanding and adhering to data management protocol.
-Responsible for sending large communication through marketing email platform.
-May attend entity meetings to provide on-site support.
-Performs other related duties as required.
Required Education, Qualifications, Experience
-Possession of an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
-At least two years’ experience in website design and maintenance.
-Proficiency with MS Excel, HTML and / or XHTML
-At least one year of providing service to internal and/or external customers in a marketing and/or web support venue.
-Previous experience interacting with multiple departments to garner consensus and to ensure strategic alignment.
Preferred Education, Qualifications, Experience
-Possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in marketing, graphic design, or relevant area.
-Experience maintain a social media presence and posting for a business, and proficiency with MS -Photoshop, Illustrator and / or Adobe Creative Suite.
-Previous experience working in a not-for-profit, NGO, or an association setting.
