BI-LINGUAL OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Job Summary:

Generate profitable sales growth by establishing relationships with prospective customers, understanding their needs and then winning their business by demonstrating the superior quality of the products and services of Gaspard.

Essential Job Functions:

· Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs

· Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking

· Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns

· Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/ services

· Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data

· Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences

· Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections

· Collaborate with team to achieve better results

· Perform administrative duties, such as preparing sales budgets and reports, keeping sales records, and filing expense account reports.

· Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies and marketing information

· Attend and participate in Sales Meetings

· Follow up with customers to make sure they are satisfied with their purchases and to answer any questions or concerns

· Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction

· Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule

· Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

· Must be fully bilingual in French and English

· Clothing and textile background preferred

· Excellent skills and ability in MS Office

· Highly motivated and target driven with a proven record in sales

· Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills

· Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills

· Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to audience needs

· Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

· Ability to relate and communicate with diverse customer base

Education/Experience:

· College Diploma or University degree

· Sales experience

Work Environment:

· Montreal Office

· Must have a valid Driver’s License and own vehicle (kilometer based reimbursement)

· Travel required within Canada and USA

· Benefits Package (after 3 months)
