The Business Banking Relationship Manager helps create the energy and excitement around Amerant Bank products by:Uncovering customers' needswith the support of their team members to provide the right solutionsAchieving deposits and loan growth targeting Small Businesses within their assigned market footprint with $5MM or less in revenue.Utilizing BTB/nCino applications to input new loans, renew existing loans and use the workflows to analyze, underwrite and recommend loan applications, servicing, booking and funding loans.Delivering a customer experience for all segments that ensures quality every day, every time.Developing and implementing a business plan to achieve assigned market?s sales goals.Partnering with other lines of business (Retail, Commercial, AMTI, etc.) to maximize opportunities and expand customer relationships.Representing the Bank in local community organizations with the purpose of promoting the Bank image as well as uncovering potential business opportunities.Minimum Work Experience:3-5years banking experience in financial operations, sales or credit analysis. Previous exposure to credit required.Minimum Education and/or Certifications:Bachelor?s degree in business administration, banking, finance or accounting. Applicant must be NMLS registered and provide the company with their NMLS number or be willing to register in NMLS upon accepting an employment offer. Additionally, FBI Criminal Background and credit checks must be successfully passed within the first 30 days of employment, or 30 days from the date of the upload (whichever occurs first).Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge:Organizational and sales skills are required in order to establish and maintain excellent interpersonal and institutional relationships.Knowledge and the ability to make credit assessments.Knowledge of Business Banking products and services.Knowledge of operations and credit guidelines policies,BSA and other Banking regulations, financial statement analysis, loan documentation and administration.Previous experience using Outlook, Teams, Internet and MS Office Skills, including MS Word Advanced, MS Excel Advanced and MS PowerPoint Level II are required.Experience with Salesforce and/or nCino is preferred.Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
