We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Associate Manager, Social Media to develop and grow our social media presence across new and existing platforms for our golf business. The goal of the Wilson Sporting Goods social media strategy is to build, nurture and grow loyal communities as well as leverage brand social media platforms to promote our products, generate awareness, grow brand loyalty and ultimately drive an increase in sales.
The Associate Manager, Social Media will:
+ Be the eyes and ears of the Wilson golf brand across the entire social space
+ Be an expert on the latest social media trends and tools, providing recommendations on new channels to test and developing new ways of engaging with potential advocates within our social community
+ Support or lead the development of POVs for the Wilson golf global internal team
+ Develop and present reports to golf leadership including establishing metrics, gleaning community insights & delivering recommendations on a regular basis
+ Monitor competitors in the space and bring relevant learnings to the team
+ Manage, optimize and monitor the deployment of paid strategies and report on learnings and successes
+ Manage the daily posting strategies and optimization
+ Identify conversations or crises that require response and route through the appropriate departments for resolution
+ Collaborate with other areas within the company to ensure the consistency of brand presence in social on a global level
+ Lead and execute social influencer campaigns with the goal of creating long-term online advocacy of the brand
This role requires a bachelor's degree in journalism, literature, public relations, communications, marketing, multimedia, creative design, or a related field. We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of strong experience in strategizing, planning, managing and executing social media initiatives in a corporate or agency setting.
Other qualifications include:
+ True golf subject matter expertise in social media - significant first-hand experience with major platforms, their differences, benefits and unique features, including, but not limited to: Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest, and Snapchat
+ Social savvy - Addicted to social networking sites & all things Web 2.0 - You spend a lot of time online and stay up-do-date on new, fun things out there for high-end users as well as the masses
+ Experience leveraging social media management and analytics tools, including but not limited to HootSuite, Radian 6, etc.; familiarity with digital content management systems preferred
+ Proven experience in helping people and solving problems to improve customer service
+ Ability to coordinate cross functionally and work as a goal-oriented team
+ Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
+ Must be an independent, creative self-starter who loves running with things while keeping others in the loop
+ Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills
