We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive the delivery of a critical program that includes teams across disciplines. This role requires excellent leadership skills to build trust and drive alignment.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Implement and drive system release process across multiple teams
+ Manage daily builds, pre-release testing, software pipelines, build promotion, release logistics, and release related communication and documentation
+ Coordinate with multiple teams to triage and address system defects
+ Identify ways to optimize, accelerate, and automate the system release process

Export Control License
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon's ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Basic Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline
+ 3+ years of Technical Program Management experience; at lease 1 year driving release processes across multiple applications, regions, and technologies
+ 2+ years of hands-on software or hardware development experience - Hands-on experience in implementing or running agile methodologies at scale
+ Testing experience in an agile development environment (e.g. SCRUM/XP/Kanban) with experience writing acceptance criteria; passion for driving quality and high standards in software
+ Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and projects on tight deadlines
+ Experience building processes, project management, and software development release schedules
+ Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

+ Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Large-Scale Scrum (Less) certified
+ Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated QA experience in an SDET or QAE role
+ Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline
+ Experience working on aerospace products / projects
+ Strong technical, analytical, and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive decisions
