The Sales Team Lead spends a portion of their week making sales but balances their sales goals and objectives with training and mentoring new sales agents on the team as well. Strong sales skills as well as some type of mentorship or leadership experience is a must for this role.
The Sales Team Lead is responsible for supporting the sales staff and increasing sales. Our ideal candidate has the following skills and qualifications:
Strong communication skills for interactions with customers and sales staff
Familiarity with effective sales strategies
Inspirational attitude and ability to create a motivating environment
Ability to train others effectively
Customer service skills, including how to handle upset customers
