Altasciences Preclinical Services is seeking an experienced Animal Care Technician III to perform advanced husbandry tasks involved in the care, maintenance, and welfare of animals like non-human primates, rats, mice, guinea pigs, rabbits, swine and canine. Responsibilities:Comply with the appropriate safety and study requirements as described in the StandardOperating Procedures (SOPs), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and governmentalregulationsComply with the appropriate safety and health practices including personal protectiveequipment and barrier requirements, as applicableRecognize animal behavior and implement stimulation processes to eliminate or reducestressorsPerform animal husbandry tasks (e.g.
prepare rooms for study)Weighing of animalsAssist with animal shipment activitiesMaintain regulated equipment (e.g. call for repair when needed, monitor vendor visits)Perform facility cleaning tasks (e.g. unclogging drains)Perform minor cage repairsAssist with scientific procedures (e.g.
