Job Summary: The Business AdministrationIntern will provide support to the Chief Financial Officer, Human Resources, and others among the executive business team and will have direct interaction with all staff, organization partners, vendors, and customers. The overall objective will be to manage administrative tasks, assisting in HRIS software, maintaining records and personnel files, preparing for recruitment needs, and assist with employee focused events.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain contact with CFO and other team members to help support day to day operations.
- Support management with e-mails and correspondence.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to update personnel files.
- Manage the organization’s credit systems including issuing new and replacement credit cards for new/existing employees, solving credit card issues facing employees, analysis of credit card usage for market trends, fraud, and strategy insights.
- Support team members through management of project administration software
- Assist and support CFO and Payroll Department in compensation analysis for employee compensation, job performance, and project profitability.

- Strong time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines.

- Able to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Knowledge of HRIS or CRM systems (Preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must be currently enrolled in college/university at a minimum sophomore level, seeking an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in an office or professional setting preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 15 pounds at times.
