The primary goal of this new position is to expand access to treatment services for clients experiencing substance abuse, mental health or the dual diagnosed in a residential treatment setting. Mental Health/Dual Diagnosis services will be provided to each client residing at a state licensed, residential substance abuse treatment facility.
Develop, record, and monitor (weekly basis) clients Individual Treatment Plans to ensure progress toward client’s treatment.
Conduct Mental Health screenings and assessments
Facilitate co-occurring treatment groups.
Provide Crisis intervention.
Maintain appropriate documentation regarding client’s progress, services received in individual resident case files.
Coordinate and schedule appropriate client services with internal and external entities to meet client’s needs and treatment goals.
Provide clinical support to alcohol and drug counselors.
Complete and submit time sensitive reports to referring entities and/or agents.
Ensure compliance with organization, contractual, local, state and federal mandates, including confidentiality laws.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor and/or Program Manager.
Masters in Social Work or Counseling, or
LCSW or LMFT
CAARR and/or CAADAC certification preferred,
3 – 5 Years experience in Case Management, mental health, dual diagnosis and
Substance abuse fields,
Bilingual skills preferred,
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Work, Excel).
