Alpha Lion ( is looking for an incredible Creative Director to work with and grow the company into an absolute icon in the Sports Nutrition and performance space.

Were already one of the fastest growing brands in the US, well be going international next year and we need your help to keep the momentum rocketing.

Whether youre racking weights to compete in CrossFit or to knock out Inbox Zero, every day is a PR day for the Alpha Lion customer.

Certainly many of us are gym bros (and gals), but were not meatheads. We love data, dad jokes, epic ads and football (the soccer kind, since the less YouTube famous co-founder is an Australian bad boy).

This is a company with lots of personality and we want that to flow through to our copy, ads, landing pages, Slack banter and product labels.

We believe the gym and a peak body is a big cornerstone to a peak life. Our products and ingredients are 100% transparent, clinically studied and researched with max bioavailability and punch-bowl friendly flavors. These are formulas were incredibly proud of.

The supplement industry can see upwards of 20% refund rates (compared to our < 1% refund rate) due to massively overpromising and under delivering ingredients that make an ingredient label look full, but its just pixie dust.

Position Summary

As the Creative Director, you might be excited that were in the final stages of signing up the creative team who did the Dr. Squatch Superbowl commercial last year to make an ad for us. Youd be leading that, of course. We also think youd be excited to take our merch and labels into 2022 with a fresh but iconically familiar look and upgrade as we prepare to be GNCs all across the country and soon to be international.

Someone who can provide spirited creative leadership including copy, design and video direction to the creative team. As a creative visionary, you will lead concept development and creative campaigns across marketing touchpoints including web, print and digital marketing collateral.

In order to advance our sales goals and take our creative and brand to a new level, the ideal candidate is someone who can bring in innovative customer experiences through digital retail and design as well as a mix of marketing expertise and business understanding to the position.


  • Build and manage the creative production of all web, print and digital marketing collateral
  • Transform marketing objectives into clear and efficient creative strategies
  • Supervise and direct a cross-functional creative team of graphic designers, copywriters, videographers and project managers on the production of the marketing and sales materials.
  • Ensure the consistency of the look, feel and voice of the brand across all brand stakeholders and positive brand image representing company ideals
  • Work closely with marketing and sales departments in developing marketing plans, analyzing results and identifying new opportunities.
  • Motivate and encourage creative team members to help them use their talents effectively and grow within the company
  • Proactively taking initiative on the new projects
  • Fostering a culture of innovation in all phases of creative work
  • Conducting brainstorming sessions


  • 3+ years of experience in a Creative Director or similar role in an e-commerce business
  • Proven track record of creative leadership with extensive experience in digital marketing working with designers/copywriters/videographers
  • Preference for a degree in design or communication
  • Expertise in developing and defining design strategy
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to give clear guidance and feedback to the team members
  • Extensive knowledge of graphic design, video editing and copywriting
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience in new product creative development
  • Keen awareness of current trends in digital marketing, graphic design and video editing
  • Branding identity experience
  • A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent self-management skills
