Veterinary Technician Assistant

Welcome to Alma School Animal Hospital, we are a very busy small animal veterinary hospital and are looking to expand our team of veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants. We are in need of an individual who is willing to help represent us to our clients and care for our patients, with a vibrant personality. Here at Alma School, we believe in providing high-quality medical care to our clients and their pets.

We currently provide medical care to cats and dogs. We have a very established facility with dedicated and supportive clients.

This job is FULL TIME. All interested applicants should have good computer and communication skills, have basic skills in phlebotomy, an understanding of proper/safe animal restraint techniques, attention to detail, pharmacology knowledge, experience with radiology, and an ability to obtain a proper health history of a pet. This position is also responsible for maintaining animal care and safety for all animals within the hospital. Previous experience is required, we are willing to teach and expand one's knowledge as well.

Experience:

- 1 year of veterinary experience

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent

Schedule:

- Our office is open Monday-Friday 7:00 am-6:00 pm

Hours per week:

- 40 hours, overtime

- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule
