As Product Manager, Data Science, Data Products, and Artificial Intelligence, you will define the products for the our Data Team, which includes data engineering, analytics, and data science/ML engineering. The data team is responsible for building data products, systems, and reports that accelerate Allurion's mission to end obesity. This work includes building new capabilities for the Allurion Iris artificial intelligence platform. We are looking for a skilled product manager that can identify user pain points and translate them into well-defined data products, focusing on the product features that are most likely to make a significant difference for our customers. You'll work daily with our Data Science team to execute successfully and efficiently on the data product vision, delivering maximum value to our customers and Allurion's business. You will partner to develop strategic plans for the technologies impacting our customers. You will have strong listening, presentation, analytic skills, and passion for building exceptional experiences is essential.

As a Product Manager, Data Science, Data Products, and Artificial Intelligence, your responsibilities will include:

+ Be a trusted voice of the business to the data team

+ Develop a deep understanding of the customer and data product needs

+ Ensure that business requirements are represented accurately in the data product backlog

+ Incorporate feature requests into the data product roadmap

+ Be accountable for the Data team's product backlog and prioritization

+ Prioritize the Data Product Backlog based on customer feedback, market changes and business priority

+ Work closely with other product teams (product owners, UX designers, engineers) to represent capabilities and features for your agile team

+ Have a practical understanding of Scrum principles and practices

+ Decompose user needs into detailed requirements in user epics and stories

+ Formally accept the user stories once all acceptance criteria are met and demo-ed

+ Actively participate in product backlog refinement sessions, retrospectives, defect management and project team's release planning sessions

+ Be continuously available for the team to answer development questions, during sprint planning sessions, and standups

What we are looking for in you:

+ Have 3+ years of experience in software technology as a Product Manger, Product Owner, Developer or Business Analyst

+ Believe strongly in the business value of creating exceptional customer experiences

+ Are comfortable engaging with engineering on technical discussions and decisions, with knowledge of the tools used in building modern apps

+ Ideally, have experience working with data scientists and engineers and a general knowledge of the principals of data science.

+ Have experience collaborating with UX designers, writers, and other creative professionals

+ Have developed product roadmaps and managed product backlogs

+ Customer-obsessed and dedicated to solving for the most important customer needs

+ Data-driven mindset with an operational knowledge of statistics

+ Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Product Design or related field

+ Experience in delivering products using Agile, Scrum or Kanban

+ Possesses a deep understanding of modern data technologies, as well as user interface design

+ Experienced with product roadmap development through collaboration with key business and technology stakeholders to identify business priorities

+ Possesses an ability to empower and inspire your team

+ Have an inquisitive and creative mindset with a demonstrated ability to seize opportunities and simplify problems for everyone around you.

+ Excellent communicator with team members, colleagues, and senior management

+ High-energy team member who brings new ideas and challenges the status quo

+ Comfortable working within a growth startup environment

+ Ability to be remote in North, Central or South America
