Allied Wire and Cable in Collegeville, PA is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support our growing OEM business!

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in numerous areas of the HR industry including (but not limited to) benefits administration, onboarding, quality control and policy implementation, recruitment/employment, safety and OSHA compliance, EEOC filings and affirmative action and employment law compliance.

What you'll do in this role:

  • Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel, assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures, prepares and maintains the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual
  • Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting and communicating benefits information to employees
  • Respond to employee relations inquiries which may include, but are not limited to: Disciplinary action, progressive performance management, policy breach, investigations, employee standards of conduct, EEOC claims, unemployment claims, and terminations
  • Develop and maintains affirmative action program, files EEO-1 report annually, and maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEOC regulations
  • Assists in the recruitment effort for both exempt and nonexempt personnel, students and temporary employees, conducts new-employee orientations, ensure all onboarding activities are complete
  • Ongoing monitoring of the workplace environment to proactively identify trends and the identification of potential concerns or issues
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations
  • Communicate professionally with outside suppliers such as temporary agencies, insurance brokers, and any other vendors of services

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in the HR field
  • Strong working knowledge in recruiting, retention, performance evaluations, training, WC, UC, FMLA, FLSA, EEOC, PA HRC, USERRA, OSHA, AAP, Right to Know
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
  • Ability to perform and prioritize multiple task in a fast paced, high volume environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively both in groups and independently
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential information
  • Exceptional conflict resolution skills
