Job Description This position requires the ability to establish and drive sales performance of the collective sales teams who are currently selling broadband and UCaaS services to a targeted market sector. This position will also be responsible for developing a sales team that can sell Managed, IT and Cyber Security Services as a new product. The successful candidate will be responsible for motivating both first line managers and individual contributors, establishing performance and activity metrics (with the associated reward and consequences), revising compensation plans and ensuring that the sales culture is nimble enough to adapt to the organizations expanding product/service offerings. The successful candidate does not need to live in the Washington DC area but must be willing to spend 3 to 5 days a week in the HQ offices for at least the first twelve months of employment.   Supervisory Responsibilities ·       Hire and train sales managers and staff. ·       Organize and oversee the schedules, territories, and performance of sales managers. ·       Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.  ·       Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.   Duties/Responsibilities ·       Provide leadership to the sales team. ·       Motivate and encourage sales team to ensure quotas are met.  ·       Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets. ·       Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.  ·       Assign territories and sets quotas for sales teams. ·       Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs. ·       Resolve customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations. ·       Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies. ·       Prepare sales budget; monitor and approve expenses.   ·       Act as company representative at trade association meetings.  ·       Perform other duties as assigned.
