Job Description

Office Assistant

The Office Assistant will provide assistant to all office-related functions. This will be a lot of very detail-oriented work in which the person will be making sure that all invoices are correct and are okay to be closed out. Other duties may include providing back-up on the main phone line, creating Pos, organizing bills and doing some light data entry.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with overall admin duties
  • Create purchase orders
  • Export reports to Excel and use basic formulas
  • Handle credit card processing
  • Inbound and outbound phone customer service
  • Creating invoices
  • Directly supporting the Owner and Office Manager
  • Use/navigate multiple websites to help answer product questions and purchased software
  • File reports on tools or turn them on and off remotely for a client
  • Activate or deactivate subscriptions
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or GED required
  • Ability to learn and retain information
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
  • Understand basic financial transactions
  • Quick learner and ability to multitask
  • Detail oriented and very organized
  • Okay with working in a small, family type of environment
  • Comfortable working in the auto industry (may be loud and sometimes not professional language)
  • Great problem-solving skills
