Customer Service Showroom Representative

Job Overview/Basic Function:
In this role as the Showroom Lead for the Allied Eagle Showroom, you would be directly responsible to oversee all daily Showroom operations. This person will have strong relationships with our walk-in customer base and should be able to assist customers with finding products that best suit their wants and needs. One of the key responsibilities of this seat is to ensure that the customer receives their order correctly and is satisfied with the transaction.

Requirements of the job:

•Calls from customers: Receive calls / faxes or emails from customers, enters orders and responds to questions and problems the customers may have.
•Walk in Customers: Helps walk in customers to determine what they need. Process, pick and load the customer's order.
•Field Receiving phone calls to other departments.
•Field Equipment service calls/walk in customers to the Service Department.
•Keeps up diligently on tasks given by department manager.
•This position requires the employee to work in an office environment.

Physical Requirements:

•The ability to stand, walk and sit.
•This job requires frequent sitting and working at a computer.
•Standing at the Showroom counter, with the ability to lift 50lbs to help customers load their orders into vehicles.

Skills and Abilities:

•Strong office skills, to include typing, phone system management and communication skills.
•Customer service skills
•Experience in an office setting doing administrative and clerical duties
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Computer literacy
•Effective organizational and time-management skills
•A basic knowledge of custodial work or floor care would be a bonus

Qualifications:

•High school diploma or GED equivalent
•Must possess a valid driver's license
•Must be familiar with basic functions of Microsoft Office program

Work Schedule & Pay Scale:
Full time Monday - Friday
8:30am - 5:00pm
Starting Wage $15.00 - $17.00 based on experience and other factors.

oPrevious experience working in an office setting
oFamiliar with technology, Microsoft programs
oExperience working on a computer in general
oPhone & in person customer experience

Here's what a typical day looks like in customer service:

•Open our Showroom and assure shelves are stocked properly
•Between 20-30 phone calls per day
•Emails
•Process Customer Orders
•Questions/issues
