Our client is actively seeking a talented Project Manager to work at their location in West Memphis, AR or Raleigh, NC. This is a contract to permanent assignment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Apply project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to a broad range of tasks to meet requirements and to deliver the end result for a particular project.
  • Manage the overall planning, control, status reporting, stability, and delivery of complex projects across several functions to ensure delivery on plan to time, cost and quality
  • Assist in leading, building and developing the project team(s).  Encourage personal leadership from each team member and actively hold each member of the project team’s accountable for project deliverables.
  • Develop project plans: identifying schedules, specifications, risks, and contingency plans for all projects.
  • Lead all projects and project teams from concept to post release with strong sense of urgency, utilizing project management tools and techniques.
  • Deploy problem-solving methodologies with demonstrated experience
  • Provide weekly updates to Management and insure accuracy of all project specific details, including deliverables, due dates, team changes, and risks
  • Become a subject matter expert in project management with the ability to train and coach others.
  • Work collaboratively with other manufacturing plants and strategic suppliers as needed.
  • Assist Program Manager’s with facilitating steering team meetings on a regular basis, to include administering and leading meeting discussions.
  • Communicate with all relevant stakeholders within and outside the project,
  • Proactively engage in resource planning, upfront commitment from the organization, and reporting to manage deviations.
  • Proactively identify project risks and define mitigation plans
  • Report project progress/risks and issues to relevant decision bodies at an early stage.

 

Required Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of project management experience
  • WMS experience a plus
