Our client is a leading public accounting firm providing advisory, tax and assurance services. They are in search of a dynamic Senior Audit Associate to join their firm in their Irvine office. This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing firms in the nation!
Job Duties:
- Provide various audit and consulting services to clients by gathering information for testing procedures
- Supervise all audit engagement activities, including oversight of staff
- Assess and evaluate deficiencies in internal controls and make improvement recommendations
- Work directly with Managers and Partners on client recommendations and suggestions for appropriate testing
- Build internal and external relationships
- Develop staff team members and assist them in meeting career goals
- Bachelor’ s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA strongly preferred; at a minimum, must be actively pursuing completion of exam
- 2+ years of audit experience within a public accounting environment
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong Excel skills
