Land Development Project Manager

What You'll Do:

Due to growth, we are looking to expand our Land Development team and looking to add a Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the pre-construction, construction, and closeout activities with a goal of accelerating residential subdivisions to the sales and home building teams. The Project Manager will contribute to the Land Development department by ensuring that all deliverables meet the timeliness, quality standards, and cost goals.

In this role, you will:

  • Use your bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or similar technical degree and 3+ years of construction management experience to plan and execute the construction of new residential subdivisions
  • Apply strong organizational skills to ensure proper file structure, comply with permitting requirements, report on the status of projects weekly, and manage invoices against the scope of the project and agreed upon payment schedules
  • Use your time management skills to prepare estimates, bid packages, contracts, specifications, scope, and manage the bidding and awarding process
  • Establish and manage all budgets, trades, preconstruction meetings, accurately forecast schedules, coordinate road construction and municipal approvals, and act with a sense of urgency to direct the installation of franchise utilities to ensure infrastructure is in place prior to home construction
  • Be a strong communicator to keep all relevant stakeholders informed throughout the project, communicate accurately with all trade partners, and collaborate with all internal Allen Edwin departments
  • Take ownership of project quality through inspections, dirt management and entrance statements to ensure all Allen Edwin Communities maintain a "Show Quality" presence
