Maintenance/Project Sales Representative - Mechanical Service - Mechanical Contractor in Seaford, DE, 30 Year Old Company. Base to $80k + Commission, Growing Company.

  • Our client, a stable, fast-growing mechanical contractor, has an immediate need for a Maintenance/Project Sales Representative to handle a territory out of the Seaford, DE area. Our client has been in business for over 30 years and has a stellar reputation in the industry. They are a continually growing company, and they are looking to add a rep in the Sussex County/surrounding area to help them take this division to new heights. The Seaford team operates as a tight-knit group, always willing to help each other out, and are looking for someone who operates from a “customer first” mentality in order to fit into this culture.
  • In this position, the Maintenance/Project Sales Representative will be responsible for new business generation and hunting for new customers, as well as fielding inbound project requests. They will evaluate systems and components to determine the repairs, modifications, or replacements necessary to resolve issues with customers’ mechanical systems. The Project Sales Representative will prepare project design, cost estimates, and formal project proposal documents and serve as the liaison between the customer and the project manager. A large part of their role will also be selling maintenance agreements to both existing and new clientele. They will sell to facility owners, maintenance managers and engineers.

Compensation: Our client is offering a solid compensation package for this position, that typically puts you around $130K in the first year with an uncapped commission plan that can have top performers doing well beyond that in subsequent years. Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position will either possess a Bachelor’s Degree and at least 5 years of proven success in HVAC sales or come from the field and have a strong technical proficiency with a strong desire to hunt new business. The candidate should be independent, self-motivated, and driven to take complete ownership over their role. They should possess strong CRM experience and exceptional customer service skills.
