Inside Sales Representative

Allredi is an industrial manufacturer and distributor with locations across the United States and Canada, newly created as a product of the merger of two leaders in abrasives, APE Companies and Marco Group International. Our organization specializes in industrial distribution and manufacture of industrial abrasive equipment. From our foundation of strong relationships, we have built a nationwide network that puts vast inventory and ready service close to our customers.

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative for our Davenport, IA location. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the ISR responds to customer inquiries and ensures customers’ needs are met regarding product selection, placement of orders, requests for prices & quotations, complaints, returns, shortages, adjustments, expediting and requests for literature. This position also handles all walk-in customers and their needs.

Responsibilities:

• Services incoming calls by taking and processing local orders, responding to technical questions, entering sales notes, and tracking shipments.
• Forwards any email orders to the customer service group in Davenport, IA
• Promotes and maintains good customer relationships by servicing phone calls, delivering on customer needs and assisting all walk-in customers at the branch.
• Works the “open orders” report and “back order” report daily to make sure customers are getting their orders in a timely manner.
• Responsible for the RMA processing at the branch.
• Orders supplies and keeps the branch stocked with office supplies. Work with Michelle Riffe in Davenport to make sure the branch has the needed supplies.
• Conducts specialty projects and performs other related duties as assigned by management, or to fulfill the “Primary Function” of the job

Qualifications:

• Completion of High School degree with 2-3 years of sales & customer service experience and two years of industry experience or two years of Marco employment experience required, college degree preferred
• Must have solid computer skills including strong MS Excel background
• Must possess ability to work independently but function as a strong member of a team
• Knowledge of company products, the industry, competitors, and basic business concepts
• Must have excellent problem solving skills, be detail oriented and organized
• Must be able to multi-task and work on many different projects at one time
