Acquisition Logistics Analyst (Mid and Senior Level)– Stafford, VA

Seeking Acquisition Logistics Analysts at the Mid/Senior levels, with a strong background in life cycle logistics support to Program Manager Infantry Weapons (Infantry, Combat Optics, Anti Armor, and Force Protection) acquisition programs, to support customer in Stafford, VA. Duties include:

  • Develop and/or revise appropriate level acquisition logistics documentation (e.g. Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Fielding Plans, IUID Plans, Training Packages, Disposal Plans, MPTA, DMSMS Plans)
  • Support development of the Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plan/Simple Acquisition Management Plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)/Integrated Master Schedules (IMSs), Systems Engineering Management Plans (SEPs), Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), and other required acquisition documentation
  • Support development of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs)
  • Participate in IPTs as a logistics subject matter expert, representing Program interests among government and industry stakeholders
  • Support Integrated Logistics Assessments (ILAs) coordination and process
  • Support development and evaluation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and participate at Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) providing the logistics prospective
  • Participate at technical and management IPTs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, years of relevant experience commensurate with required level

o   Mid-Level positions – 3-8 years demonstrated knowledge and experience in DoD Acquisition and Life-cycle Management

o   Senior Level positions – 8+ years demonstrated knowledge and experience in DoD Acquisition and Life-cycle Management 

  • Experience with all Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) elements required for mid and senior levels
  • DAWIA Level II Certification or equivalent training in the Logistics field is desired for both mid and senior levels
  • Experience in developing acquisition documentation to support programs in achieving required milestones/events is required for both mid and senior levels
  • Ability to effectively work independently and as part of an integrated team of Government and non-Government players is required
  • Excellent MS Office skills are required
  • Must be detail-oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, self-starter with a history of demonstrating initiative
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance is required

This position is contingent upon contract award.
