Albireo Energy are currently looking for a senior Business Development Manager who will be responsible for profitable and aggressive sales growth in PJM, NYISO and NEPOOL area. The account executive should have successful track record and relevant experience in direct sales, preferably in a large organization where they have gained experience and appreciation for a disciplined approach to account management in a B2B environment.
Energy experience is a must. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, building owners and corporate decision makers Aggressively pursue and sell energy procurement, energy advisory and utility management services to enterprises in territory and across the US Partner with the wider team on established accounts and assist in proposing solutions in cross-sell efforts with other divisions Primary role will be to win new business and drive account growth (small to large enterprise); quota carrying with generous commission Customer engagement and education on the energy landscape, energy market updates, and the suite of management and procurement solutions offered Represent the division and the brand at business development events Prospecting, lead generation, new business development, upsell, cross-sell Negotiate final pricing and scope of work with clients Achieve annual revenue and gross margin targets Track sales activities and forecast sales opportunities in CRM Requirements Proven business-to-business experience, high impact communicator 5-15 years’ sales and development experience in energy A self-starter with a hunter's mentality, strong account and relationship management skills Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently in various business, organizational and corporate settings Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, preferred Demonstrates a constant growth mindset, experience with or comfort in learning the energy industry and ability to drive complex sales in complex industries Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems Proven ability to hit sales goals and manage in deadline driven environment Benefits Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Basic Life Insurance Voluntary Life Insurance Short Term & Long Term Disability Paid Vacation Paid Sick Time Paid Holidays 401K with Company match
