Sales Operations Specialist


Building36, a subsidiary of, is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to join its growing sales team. The Sales Operations Specialist will have a broad range of responsibilities including providing operational support to the sales team, analysis of data, ensuring data integrity, and improving and maintaining sales support functions, processes and policies.  The position requires exceptional organizational, and communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as to interact with senior-level executives and customers alike.


  • Manage the sales support functions, processes and policies essential to the overall productivity and effectiveness of the Sales team, including but not limited to the contract and onboarding process
  • Collaborate with sales management to identify and target new areas for opportunity, and to coordinate sales, marketing and support efforts.
  • Develop, implement, communicate, and manage campaigns and initiatives designed to reach comp plan targets.
  • Administer and implement key sales enablement technologies and software, including CRM, to increase sales team effectiveness.
  • Provide weekly account and sales activity reports, dashboards and other documentation as requested by sales management, and support in the overall delivery of accurate data.
  • Create and/or coordinate email templates and collateral pieces to help the sales team become increasingly effective.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Business Intelligence and other departments across the organization to create and manage processes and maximize sales efficiency.
  • Work directly with Marketing and Training to provide guidance on standard presentations, sales tools and provide consistent feedback from the field to ensure proper messaging.
  • Assist supply chain to support sales needs including by not limited to ensuring all backend ordering tools are consistent between all partners.
  • Facilitate the overall sales strategy by being the point of contact for all unassigned accounts to coach them through the onboarding process
  • Work in conjunction with the training team to coordinate and facilitate large group trainings exclusively focusing on the onboarding process after contract signing.


  • 2-4 years' experience minimum in a sales or sales operations environment
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy while managing multiple tasks and changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work effectively and interact with senior level executives and directors.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems effectively.
  • Demonstrates persistence in improving efficiencies and displays an innovative, growth mindset with the ability to think creatively.
  • Team player with an extremely positive attitude and flexibility.
  • Strong writing skills; good grammar, punctuation and sentence structure.
  • Strong technical and computer skills and aptitude.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is a MUST.
  • At least 1 year of experience with or another CRM platform.
