Immunotherapy Specialist

Alabama Allergy & Asthma Center is hiring a nurse or certified medical assistant experienced in administering injections to become part of our growing care team in our Hoover office! We are looking for candidates with a great attitude, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Minimum requirement Certified Medical Assistant with 3+ years in clinical experience including injections or LPN. Salary commiserate with education and experience.

This position will require the candidate to work on Saturday's 8:45-1:00 in Homewood.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform allergy/biologics injections.
  • Maintain proper documentation in patient charts.
  • Handle all administrative and medical related duties in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in giving injections a must.
  • Organized/strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform clinical duties in safe/efficient manner in a fast paced environment.
  • Respiratory and Allergy experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to use EMR and other required technology.
