Ajilon is seeking a temp-to-hire Sales Assistant for a tech sales company in Eden Prairie. This candidate will support the tenured sales staff in lead generation, quote creation, and preparation for meetings and events. - Prospecting on the phone and during face-to-face interactions
- Work with sale leaders to identify and target specific industry demographics
- Learn and master various company pitch to give to prospective clients
- Research accounts to determine where services can be provided
- Schedule meetings for sales team to discuss evolving services
- Provide follow-up information to targeted accounts, as required
- Document call activity and account information for future follow-up
- Event promotion, set up, and tracking
- Maintain relationships with prospects and clients throughout company events and communications
- Track event attendees and provide follow-up as needed
- Document outcomes and event execution in company CRM
- Attend industry events to introduce capabilities and garner face-to-face meetings
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to communicate information to small groups of consumers
- Willingness to learn and grow, including taking industry specific classes and workshops
- 4-year degree and/or 2+ years working in a sales environment
- Must provide a valid driver’s license and be able to pass background and drug screens, as well as an aptitude test
- Nights and weekends, as needed for tradeshows and events
