Purchasing Coordinator, Near Lombard IL

 

One of our great clients is looking to bring on a Purchasing Coordinator to their team. This is a Direct Hire position, offering a competitive salary.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with orders from start to finish- process order, send to vendor, track orders, verify orders, ensure overall completeness
  • Communicate with other departments and vendors regarding orders status
  • Help to get orders expediated when necessary
  • Help to resolve any order issues for vendors as needed
  • Keep an up to date on inventory and process internal orders
  • Maintain Cost of Goods Sold and approve invoices from vendors
  • Enter data/documents into internal system, including any agreements and service purchases

  • Requirement:

  • Previous experience in a relative position or a college degree within Business Administration, Supply Chain & Logistics
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of QuickBooks, NetSuite, or ConnectWise  
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize projects to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and great organization skills are a must
  • Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
  •  

    Job Details:

  • Hours are 8:30-5, with flexibility
  • This job is normally NOT remote, must be able to go on site
  • This position pays $45-$48k depending on experience
