Job Description

Mailroom Clerk

Ajilon is seeking a temporary to hire Mailroom Clerk for one of out clients in the Blue Ash, OH area. . If you have 1+ years as a Mailroom Clerk this may be a great position for you! This position includes presorting outgoing mail, verifying items against shipment records, and other related tasks.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Process large amounts of postage daily
  • Presort outgoing mail
  • Carry out established procedures in handling incoming and outgoing mail
  • Receive packages and verify them based on shipping records
  • Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment
  • Inspect package conditions
  • Program and operate presort equipment
  •  

    Experience:

  • 1+ years of Mailroom experience
  •  

    Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to operate equipment to move pallets of paper stock
  •  

    Skills

  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently
  • General knowledge of policies and procedures
  • Understanding of mail room process
  •  

    Job type: temp to hire

     

    Hours: 6:00AMAM to 2:30PM

     

    Pay: 14-16/HR
