Healthcare Call Center Representative

We are looking to hire multiple Healthcare Call Center Representatives to assist a Non-Profit Healthcare organization in Downtown Los Angeles! Our client provides high quality affordable healthcare insurance to all participants. The Healthcare Call Center Representative will oversee supporting center operations by greeting patients and confirming eligibility. This is a full time, temporary to hire opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and providers over the phone
  • Answer high volume inbound calls
  • Confirm patient eligibility
  • Schedule appointments and review date, time and location with participants
  • Acts as a liaison for patients and health center
  • Provide information on various healthcare insurance plans
  • Walk patients through application process
  • Provides proactive education to participants by phone

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Bilingual Spanish skills is a plus
  • Working knowledge and working experience in a healthcare environment
  • Understanding of Insurance plans and medical terminology
  • Knowledge of OSHA
  • Familiar with HIPPA
  • MS Office Suite experience
