Healthcare Call Center Customer Service Representative Job in San Diego, CA
Ajilon is working with one of the largest healthcare networks in San Diego to help them expand their customer service team in their Kearny Mesa location. This is an amazing opportunity for anyone trying to break into the healthcare industry or transition your experience to a very reputable organization. In order to succeed in this position, you will be a go-getter that is able to grasp training very quickly, and then jump in and help get the job done! This is a temporary to direct hire opportunity, and the pay will be $16 per hour during the temporary period.
- Answering heavy incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner
- Assisting patients and physician with questions and inquiries
- Communicating with patients and taking details notes from conversations
- Scheduling appointments for several departments within the healthcare network
- Transferring calls to appropriate nurse or faculty member when necessary
- Conducting outbound calls to follow up with patients and physicians as needed
- Accurately entering large amounts of data
- At least two years of customer service experience
- Call center and healthcare experience is helpful, but not required
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to learn quickly and multi-task
