Job Description
Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator will assist with the duties of all facets of the Human Resources department and support associates across multiple facilities and states.

Roles & Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Filing of I-9s and terminated associates’ I-9s
  • Create attendance lists for meetings/trainings
  • Sort and distribute weekly paychecks
  • Assist with Associate Relations matters, escalating to HR Business Partner in another site when necessary
  • Create benefit folders for new hires without e-mail addresses
  • Enter new hire info on 90-day review log, send review form/process to supervisors/managers, and follow-up for receipt of completed reviews
  • General department filing including weekly payroll back-up
  • Respond to general HR Connect inquiries with a 24-hour response time and keep inbox in orderly fashion
  • Creating continuing employment letters for any payroll, department, shift and rate changes for associates
  • Create and distribute badges to active associates due to lost or broken badges.
  • Maintain active and current labor law posters and required postings in the facility and retails stores
  • Create new hire personnel and benefit folders
  • Assisting Department as needed
  • Create and send weekly termination letters as required by State of CA
  • Review unemployment claims and respond (when necessary)  
  • Review quarterly unemployment report and ensure accuracy and filing  
  • E-mail/Call new hires to remind of benefit enrollment eligibility and assist in enrolling in benefits
  • Receive, sort, and distribute departmental mail

    To qualify for this position, your background must include:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, Human Resources, or similar field required
  • 1+ years of HR experience
  • High attention to detail, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize associate requests
  • Ability to work autonomously with the support of a remote HR department
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
