Our client near Downers Grove is looking for a call center representative on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in receiving high volume of phone calls.
Responsibilities:
Place 150+ outbound calls daily
Collect enrollment updates from college-bound families
Check in on enrolled students, to remind them about the program
Answer questions, and identify any issues that may lead to them dropping out of college.
General clerical and administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or higher, with 3+ years customer service experience required
- Admissions, financial aid and/or student service experience preferred
- Experience using a CRM (e.g., Salesforce) preferred
- Comfort working in a call-center environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English-Spanish bilingual a plus)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- High degree of professionalism
- Flexibility, adaptability, dependability
