Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000/year, based on qualifications and experience

Air Squared is looking for a Quality Engineer to support production processes by ensuring the overall quality of

manufactured parts through process improvement and quality initiatives.

Quality Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• Support the Quality Management System, adhering to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards, under the direction of Top Management between all departments of the Quality Manager.
• Develop and implement process improvements for the Quality department with attention to QMS, production,inspection, and supplier management processes.
• Oversee customer returns (RMA process)
• Responsible to administer Corrective Actions within the company and with customers and suppliers.
• Support the Quality department with oversight of the Nonconforming Material Request (NCMR) process.
• Support the Quality department with supplier interface, which may include the supplier approval process, performing on-site audits and Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR).
• Develop and implement departmental and company KPIs, Goals and Objectives.
• Champion the writing, release, and training of Quality Assurance focused work instructions.
• Liaison with Customers relating to Quality concerns and issues
• Representative from Quality Assurance to work with Production and Engineering on Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs)
• Support the calibration program, with attention to Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations
• Support the implementation and maintenance of 6S activities and documented Kaizen events with representatives from other departments (Sales, Production, Engineering, Quality)
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Quality Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required)
• Experience in a Quality Engineering role in a manufacturing facility (over 5 years preferred)
• Experience with Quality Management Systems meeting ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Proficiency reading and understanding manufacturing prints drawings and associated including GD&T
• Ability to accurately use a variety of inspection equipment a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Global Shop preferred)
• Attention to detail is critical
• Effective communication skills both orally and written
