Be an Airfield Management Specialist in the Oregon Air National Guard
As a member of the Air National Guard, you will inspect airfields and provide information and support to aircrews to ensure a safe operating environment. Information will include flight plans, aeronautical charts, navigational aids and weather data. To qualify, you'll need a high school diploma.
Serving part-time in the Air Guard, you'll receive a regular monthly paycheck, along with low-cost life insurance, a military retirement plan, and eligibility for VA home loans. You'll also get money for college that is now transferable to your dependents through the Montgomery G.I. Bill.
